3-day Residential programme – Carer Support
July 16 @ 11:00 am - July 18 @ 4:00 pm
Who is it for?
Are you a family carer supporting someone with dementia? Would you benefit from taking a break from your caring role to learn more about dementia and develop your caring skills? This residential stay could be just what you’re looking for.
The Royal Surgical Aid Society (RSAS) are holding a series of FREE three-day residential support programmes in different hotel venues in Birmingham, Solihull and Wiltshire. RSAS are offering you a free space on the residential programmes in April, June and July as your input and experiences will help them develop their carer support offer and finalise the Carer Support Programmes they will run in future.
During the three day stay, you will get together in small groups to share your experiences of caring in a friendly, supportive environment with others who are going through the same thing. As well as enjoying some down time, you will come away knowing more about yourself in your caring role and about dementia, and will gain confidence in finding local support and in ways to plan ahead.

The residential programmes in June and July are completely free including all accommodation and food. Please note, future programmes will be charged.
