Dementia Carers Count – Family Carer Research Listening Event

Tuesday 11 June 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Dementia Carers Count is a new charity that is focused on supporting family carers of persons with dementia. Dementia Carers Count is best known for its courses for family carers but it also partners with the University of Worcester to help with research into the experiences and needs of family carers of persons living with dementia.

On June 11th we are holding an event to hear family carer’s views about our research plans. This will be a relaxed and friendly event at a lovely venue where you can:

  • hear about our research plans
  • tell us what research topics you think are most important
  • share research ideas of your own
  • tell us your views on 5 particular topics we hope to do research on
  • meet with other carers interested in research
  • find out about further involvement in our researchFor more information about public involvement in research see www.invo.org.uk  or we can post information out to you.The event programme is below. At this moment in time, we are unable to refund travel costs so we are appealing to mostly local participants who are able to get themselves to the venue. Each place is costing the University of Worcester £35 per head but there is NO charge to you.If you are interested in taking part, please complete the booking form Attached as the Flyer.
