Parent-Carer Workshop: Disability Living Allowance – Making an Effective Claim

What?

This is a free two-hour workshop for parents/ carers of children with disabilities or additional needs aged 0 – 16. We will show you:

  • How to complete a claim form effectively
  • Explain the rules for those claiming Disability Living Allowance for a child
  • Explain the process of challenging a benefit decision through the appeals process
  • Explore other disability benefits you may be able to claim

This is an informal session lasting two hours. You will have a chance to ask questions and receive information on where you can obtain further help.

This workshop will be repeated on two dates, Monday, 18 June, 11am-1pm and Monday 2 July, 11am – 1pm @
