Receiving a Service from Forward Carers

Forward Carers is a partnership of organisations, whose aim is to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of carers, young and old, including parent carers. We offer a wide range of services to carers including Information and advice, one to one support, training, events and support groups.  A list of our partner organisations can be found here

In order to provide a service to you, we need to collect information about you and the person you care for. By being a member of Forward Carers, you can receive a service from any of our partnership organisations and as such, your data could be accessed by them. Any information you provide to us is confidential and kept in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We do not sell personal information onto third parties.

If you are a carer for someone who lives in Birmingham, you are receiving a service from Birmingham Carers Hub, delivered by Forward Carers. Birmingham Carers Hub is contracted by Birmingham City Council. Therefore by receiving a service from Birmingham Carers Hub, your data could also be accessed by Birmingham City Council, as well as our partnership organisations. Using the Forward Carers website

Forward Carers will collect certain information or data about you when you use this website. This includes:

  • questions, queries or feedback you leave, including any personal information if you send an email to Forward Carers
