Receiving a Service from us – Terms and Conditions

By emailing us via this website and/or accepting a service from Forward Carers, such as Carer Friendly Communities, Carer Friendly Card or placing and accepting a nomination as part of the Carer Friendly Business Awards. You are agreeing to how your information will be used, stored, and accessed in line with the below terms and conditions.

Forward Carers CIC aim is to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of carers, young and old, including parent carers, we do this via various methods including raising awareness of our Carer Friendly Communities scheme.

Carer Friendly Communities, Carer Friendly Card and Carer Friendly Business Awards is managed and administered by Forward Carers.

Forward Carers is committed to protecting your personal information. We promise to be clear about the information we collect and the ways we use it. Regardless of whether you use our services, request information from us, work for, or volunteer with us, we respect your right to privacy.

In order to provide a service to you, we need to collect company information. We will also collect personal and /or sensitive information about you and the person you care for if you are accessing our Carer Friendly Card. Your information will be saved electronically and stored securely on Forward Carers’ management systems and we store your data on secure servers in the UK. Any information you provide to us is confidential and kept in accordance with Data Protection Regulations.

You can find out what information we hold about you and ask us not to use or delete that information we collect, at any time. The only exception to this is if we have to keep information as we have a legal duty to do so.

If you are aged under 18, please get permission from a parent or guardian before providing any personal information to us.

Disclosing your information
We do not sell or trade personal information onto third parties. But may pass on your personal information if we have a legal obligation to do so or if you ask us to.

Your rights
You have certain rights concerning the information we hold about you, as defined under the General Data Protection Regulation. If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact us, including your email address in the first instance (this is the unique identifier we use to identify and collate personal information).

We do not use any personal information for automated decision making or profiling; your data is not subject to automated decision making or profiling.

If you change email address, or any of the other information we hold is inaccurate or out of date, please contact us so we may correct our records.

Using the Forward Carers website and connecting with us via Social Media
Forward Carers will collect certain information or data about you when you use this website. This includes:
