Carer Projects Grant Funding Scheme in Birmingham
As part of the Birmingham Carers Hub contract, Forward Carers CIC has been commissioned to run a Carer Projects grant funding scheme to expand provision for unpaid Carers in Birmingham.
Key Dates:
The fund will be open for applications from Friday 23 June until midday Friday 28 July.
Funding value:
£10,000 – £25,000 per annum
Project length
12 – 24 months. Projects to start in September/ October 2023.
Projects that improve the wellbeing of Carers in the following categories will be welcomed:
- Support for LBGTQ+ Carers
- Improving Carer mental wellbeing
- Young and Sibling Carer
- Provision of Bereavement/ Pre Bereavement support for Carers
- Addressing health inequalities faced by Carers
- Other Carer groups not specified above (evidence of need/ gap in service will be required)
