Carer breaks are organised by the Birmingham Buddhist Centre, these breaks offer time for rest and nourishment and a chance to learn ways to take care of your own health and wellbeing. They are suitable for people of all backgrounds and faiths (or none).
All transport, accommodation, food and refreshments are included.
Activities include yoga, message, tai chi and relaxation meditation.

The overnight breaks at Holland House, near Evesham (http://www.hollandhouse.org) are:

Tuesday 17th to Wednesday 18th July 2018
Tuesday 11th to Wednesday 12th September 2018
Tuesday 6th to Wednesday 7th November 2018

The overnight break at Charney Manor near Oxford (http://charneymanor.co.uk)  where priority will be given for people who need downstairs and/or ensuite rooms:

Please note that the timings for the overnight breaks are as follows: leave Moseley 9.30am, returning 6.30 – 7pm the following day

For weekend breaks,  we leave Moseley 3pm on Friday returning 4.30-5pm on the Sunday

Who is eligible?
Carers who live in Birmingham, who provide 10 hours of care per week (carers providing 50+ hours are given priority) and who care for someone in the community (not someone who is in residential care).
