We are delighted to share that Forward Carers has been named as a finalist in the prestigious Carers UK Awards 2025. These awards mark Carers UK’s 60th anniversary and shine a spotlight on the people, organisations and initiatives across the country that are making a real difference to the lives of unpaid Carers.
Being recognised at a national level is a huge honour for us. At Forward Carers, our mission has always been clear: to create Carer Friendly Communities where unpaid Carers feel valued, supported and understood. To see our work celebrated in this way is a testament not just to our team and partners, but to the thousands of Carers who inspire everything we do.
The Carers UK Awards highlight the incredible contributions of those who champion Carers’ rights, wellbeing and recognition. For us, becoming a finalist reflects our commitment to:
- Listening to Carers’ voices and co-producing services that meet their real needs.
- Innovating support, from digital tools to face-to-face groups, so Carers can access help in ways that suit their lives.
- Working in partnership with community organisations to deliver local, trusted and inclusive support.
- Championing Carers in workplaces and communities, ensuring their caring role is recognised and respected.
We are proud to stand alongside so many inspiring individuals and organisations who share the same vision of a society that truly values Carers.
The winners will be announced on 16th October 2025, and we are thrilled to see unpaid Carers and those who support them being celebrated on a national stage.
