Relax, meet new people and learn new stress management skills at a wellbeing break for carers. Organised by Birmingham Carers Hub’s partner Birmingham Buddhist Centre, carers can enjoy some ‘me’ time and recharge their batteries.

Enjoy refreshing sleep in the comfortable and peaceful surroundings of Evesham in Worcestershire and Charney Bassett in Oxfordshire.

PLEASE NOTE: Charney Manor is now fully booked!

Meet other carers in a friendly and understanding atmosphere while you learn yoga, tai chi and meditation. Dine on home cooked food catered to your needs and let the experienced and friendly team take care of you. As your break draws to a close you will be equipped with the skills that you have learned to put into practice when you return home to help you destress and relax.

All transport, food and accommodation are provided free of charge to carers unless you want to make an optional donation towards the cost of the break.

How to apply for a wellbeing break
When you apply, your name will be added to a list and you will be contacted two months before the break offering you a place if one is available. Once you have confirmed that you still want the place, your dietary needs and accommodation requests will be noted. If the date isn’t suitable for you, the next date will be offered until a place can be found that you are able to take. If you are not already registered with the Birmingham Carers Hub, the Birmingham Buddhist Centre can do that for you.
