Forward Carers CIC today announces the appointment of Dionne Williams in the role of Managing Director. Dionne has worked for Forward Carers for almost six years as the Programme Manager and has been instrumental in the growth of this Birmingham based not-for-profit organisation. Prior to this position, Dionne was Commissioning and Market Manager of social care services at Birmingham City Council where she scoped, planned and implementing new business systems for the local authority.

Dionne takes on this leadership role at a crucial time for Forward Carers, as it plans to develop and launch more innovative services and products aimed at improving the lives of family-carers at this challenging time.

Forward Carers is a not-for-profit social enterprise that’s been operating since 2015. It works in partnership with many other organisations to improve the lives of informal, unpaid carers. It currently operates a range of services and programmes including Birmingham Carers Hub, Ageing Better in Birmingham, Carer Friendly Brum and Home from Hospital – Sandwell.
